Grand Opening of the ASEAN SPORT SHOW 2024

On November 27th, the 8th China Trade Fair Indonesia 2024 kicks off at the Jakarta International Expo, with the grand opening ceremony held at 10:00 AM on November 28th. As an important part of the Indonesia Joint Exhibition, the ASEAN SPORT SHOW 2024, co-organized by the China Sporting Goods Federation, were held concurrently in Hall C1.

This Exhibition attracted nearly 1,000 high-quality enterprises from 17 provinces and cities in China, including Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Beijing, as well as local Indonesian companies. The total exhibition area reached 40,000 square meters, and over 60,000 professional buyers from Indonesia and neighboring countries had registered prior to the exhibition.

As the first “overseas exhibition” of China Sports Show, the ASEAN SPORT SHOW 2024 not only retains the exhibition service characteristics of China Sports Show but also incorporates many local Indonesian sports and cultural elements, offering unlimited business opportunities. It is expected to become an important platform for Chinese and Indonesian sporting goods enterprises to expand internationally in both directions.

LUO,Jie, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Sporting Goods Federation, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. He stated that, as a major manufacturing country for sporting goods, China’s cooperation with Indonesia— a populous nation in Southeast Asia— could promote industrial complementarity and strengthen economic and trade relations. He expressed hope that this exhibition would further facilitate cross-border dialogue, encourage the high-quality development of the sporting goods manufacturing industry in both countries, and help national brands take the leap toward becoming global brands.
