The 2024 China Mass Basketball Events Development Data Report Released

As a member of the Youth Sports Equipment and Services Committee of the China Sporting Goods Federation, Woao Sports, with the Federation’s support, conducted a survey and released the 2024 China Mass Basketball Events Development Data Report.
 
At the summit, Cao Pengcheng, co-founder of Woao Sports, shared some key statistics for the year: “The total number of events exceeded 270,000, with a total engagement reaching 1.73 billion, including an additional 5,130 events utilizing smart live streaming. The total number of participants reached 1.512 million, marking a 55.12% increase from last year. Notably, the number of youth players grew the most, with a remarkable 69.60% increase.” With the technical support of the Federation, this year’s report includes additional insights on sports consumption and sports risk management.
 
In his speech, Luo Jie, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Sporting Goods Federation, said, “As a pioneer and leader in the industry, Woao Sports not only continuously refines its products and services but also actively promotes the collaborative development of the industry chain, setting a benchmark for the comprehensive application of digital technology in the sports field.”
