National Standard “Skipping Rope” to Be Implemented from July 2025

The national standard GB/T 45544-2025 Skipping Rope, led by the National Standardization Technical Committee of Sporting Goods (TC291), has been officially approved and will take effect on July 1, 2025.
Focusing on products classification, technical requirements, and quality inspection, the standard defines key specifications including safety, functionality, environmental adaptability, and limits on hazardous substances—establishing a unified quality benchmark for the domestic jump rope industry.
The introduction of this standard fills that industry gap, helps improve product quality and safety, and is expected to enhance the global competitiveness of "Made in China" products in this sector.
