Launch of the Development of the Group Standard ＂Outdoor Sports Products - Part 4: Trekking Poles＂

On June 24, the kick-off meeting for the group standard "Outdoor Sports Products - Part 4: Trekking Poles" was held in Ningbo. The meeting aimed to standardize trekking pole products and promote the construction of a standardized system for outdoor products.​
 
Representatives from the CSGF Outdoor Industry Committee and the Science & Technology Standards Department, participating companies, and testing and certification institutions attended the meeting. As drafting units, JD.com and Tmall will participate in the implementation and promotion of this standard.​
 
During the meeting, technical representatives from companies discussed technical issues related to trekking poles, reaching consensus on most standard parameters, and agreed that some parameters need to be further improved through subsequent experiments.​
 
This standard is another segmented product standardization work carried out by the CSGF following a series of outdoor product standards. It will provide a foundation for regulating the market and guiding the development of outdoor sports.​
 
Technical personnel from companies that previously participated in the formulation of the outdoor trolley standard stated that high standards have enhanced brand value, and they hope that the formulation of this trekking pole standard will also bring more value to companies in terms of society and the market.
