The Annual Meeting of the National Standardization Technical Committee on Sporting Goods (TC291) in 2025 Was Held in Yangshuo, Guangxi

On November 7, the Annual Meeting of the National Standardization Technical Committee on Sporting Goods (TC291) in 2025 was held in Yangshuo, Guangxi.
 
Closely following the requirement of "strengthening quality support and standard guidance" specified in the Opinions on Unleashing the Potential of Sports Consumption and Further Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Sports Industry, the meeting focused on the supply and implementation of sports goods standards, summarized the annual achievements of standardization work, and explored the development paths for industry standardization.
 
Luo Jie, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Sporting Goods Federation, and Zhang Hao, Director of the Economic Department of the Sports Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, delivered speeches respectively, emphasizing the need to take policies as the guideline to promote the high-quality development of standardization work and assist in the upgrading of regional sports industries.
 
Zhang Xiaojing, Secretary-General of TC291, presented the 2025 annual work report, and Yan Xuejun, Director of General Department of CSGF, reported on financial revenues and expenditures.
 
At the meeting, the decision to add observers to TC291 was announced, and certificates were issued. Meanwhile, 21 "Advanced Institutions in Standardization Work for the Period from 2024 to 2025" were commended. In the future, TC291 will continue to lead the upgrading of the sporting goods industry with high standards and lay a solid quality foundation for the building of a sports power.
