Five National Standards Reviewed During China Sport Show 2026, Advancing Industry Quality and Innovation

During China Sport Show 2026,National Standardization Technical Committee of Sporting Goods (TC291), organized five national standard review meetings covering the esports, water sports, cycling, sports surface materials, and artificial turf industries.
Leveraging China Sport Show as a comprehensive platform for industry exchange and collaboration, TC291 brought together representatives from government agencies, research institutions, testing and certification organizations, industry associations, and leading enterprises to participate in the standardization process. The initiative further strengthened communication across the sports industry value chain and promoted the integration of standards development with technological innovation and market demand.
The reviewed standards address key areas of industry development, including sports venues, artificial turf systems, cycling, water sports, and esports. Together, they reflect the continuous expansion of sports industry standardization into new products, new technologies, and emerging forms of sports participation, providing important support for product quality, safety, consumer experience, and sustainable industry development.
