2012 China Sport Show in Full Bloom

　　With theme of “Creation, Win-win and Responsibility”, the 30th China Sport Show, hosted by the General Administration of Sport, All-China Sports Federation, Chinese Olympic Committee, CSGF and China Sport Science Society, and organized by Sports Equipment Administrative Center and Huaxing Sporting Goods Development Center, kicked off in China International Exhibition Center on May 17, 2012.

　　A number of officials attended the opening ceremony.

　　Ms. Xiao Min, Assistant Minister of the General Administration of Sport, appreciated the magnificent achievements of China Sport Show during the two decades. She pointed that on the path of promoting the development and prosperity of socialist culture, the sporting goods industry is undertaking important mission and still has large room for development. In the future, China Sport Show will continue to play a leading role in the industry and guide more enterprises into international market and capital market, so as to foster century-old brands.

　　“Beijing has the most abundant resources of stadiums and sports financial services. Lots of international sports activities take place here. In the future, we will give further play to the advantages in resources and actively carry out the work of China Sport Show.” Said Mr. Liu Jingmin, Vice Mayor of Beijing Municipality.

　　“China has become the most important manufacturing base of sportswear, sports shoes and equipment.” remarked Mr. Motoi Oyama, WFSGI President, “Chinese domestic brands are competing with international brands. And Chinese domestic market is experiencing a retail restructuring period which will have an important impact on retails of sporting goods.”

　　On the day of opening ceremony, several official forums such as China Sports Industry and Sporting Goods Industry Forum, 2012 Capital and Sports Industry Forum were held.

　　This is the 30th China Sport Show. After 3 decades’ development, 2012 China Sport Show will become a milestone in the history of sports industry development in China. Meanwhile, the Chinese sporting goods industry is standing upon a starting point of shouldering an important historical mission.
