The Total Area of Sports Venues in China Reached 4.07 billion sqm in 2023

By the end of 2023, the number of sports venues in China reached 4.59 million. This marks an increase of 8.66 percent over 2022 levels. The sports venues totaled 4.07 billion sqm, which was increased by 9.97 percent (369 million sqm), and per capital sports venues was 2.89sqm, reflecting a YoY increase of 10.3 percent, according to recent release from the General Administration of Sport of China.
